Philip Bregstone started Dr. Glass Window Washing in 1978, one squeegee to one window.

For the following decade this was just a seasonal endeavor, washing windows to meet tuition. In the 90s, as demand increased, we started
spinning off micro-businesses, so we could wash more windows but keep our signature personal touch.   Starting in 2000, we started franchising small territories in the DC area and metro Denver/Boulder.  

We now have a team of 10 dedicated franchisees, working small businesses, very much in the mold of the original Dr. Glass Window Washing, standing by our motto, "when you call Dr. Glass, you get Dr. Glass." So we welcome you to enjoy our fine personalized service, working directly with one of our crack team of "doctors glass!"
